Als bijlage stuur ik U mijn reactie op de PKB Ruimte voor de Rivier.
Ik vraag Uw bijzondere aandacht voor de kosten-baten-analyse van de PKB Ruimte voor de Rivier, waarin op een aantal plaatsen te lezen is wat de overstromingsrisico’s zijn voor onze dijkringen.
Ondanks alle recente dijkverbeteringen zijn alle overstromingsrisico’s groter dan de wettelijke eisen, met uitschieters bij dijkringen 43 Betuwe- Tieler en Culemborgerwaarden en 24 Land van Altena. Deze overstromingsrisico’s zijn een veelvoud van de wettelijke normen en derhalve niet acceptabel.
Dit leidt tot een aantal vragen:
– Kloppen deze CPB cijfers?
– Zo ja, hoe is dit mogelijk en welke stappen worden er acuut ondernomen om aan deze onwettige en onveilige situatie een eind te maken?
