In de avond de AB vergadering, die vooraf werd gegaan door een presentatie van studenten van St. Joost – Avans Hogeschool in het kader van de week van Ons Water. In feite waren het een zevental presentatie, waarin steeds een groepje van vier of vijf studenten hun ideeën presenteerden over het waterbewustzijn onder in de samenleving. De agendapunten van de AB vergadering waren onder andere: een BOB presentatie/discussie over bestuurlijke vernieuwing, twee rapportages van de rekenkamercommissie, een krediet voor de renovatie van een aantal bedrijfsgebouwen, de uitbreiding van een waterberging nabij het sportpark te Fijnaart en een discussie over de slibverwerking.

De drielagenbijeenkomst van de SWWB in het clubhuis van het Efteling Golfpark. Ik zelf bezocht de thema-discussies: klimaatadaptatie en de omgevingswet/ gezamenlijk investeringsprogramma. Ik was verbaasd over het uitzicht vanaf de tweede verdieping van het clubhuis. Een 180 graden uitzicht! En de enige ‘storing’ van de horizon van bomen was zegge en schrijven één hoogspanningsmast. Het kan dus nog in dat volle Nederland een uitzicht vrijwel zonder menselijke bouwsels.
