OVER WATER – 174: STEM OOK VOOR HET WATERSCHAP
Stemmers op Forum voor Democratie, PVV, SP, DENK, Code Oranje, Lokaal Brabant, Ouderen App̬l РHart voor Brabant en Senioren Brabant zoeken op 20 maart tevergeefs op het stembiljet voor de verkiezing van het waterschapsbestuur van de Brabantse Delta naar de partijen van hun eerste voorkeur. Deze doen niet mee aan de waterschapsverkiezingen.
Ze kunnen er dan voor kiezen om hun stem weer te geven aan de landelijke partijen waarop zij vroeger stemden. Ik hoop dat ze inzien dat water geen politieke kleur heeft. Ondanks dat regenwater ook wel hemelwater wordt genoemd, zijn de gemalen en watergangen die dat afvoeren niet christen-democratisch. Ook de dijken die arm en rijk beschermen zijn daarmee nog niet sociaal-democratisch en ook al verwerken de rioolwaterzuiveringen de menselijke uitwerpselen heel efficiënt ze zijn daarmee echt niet liberaal.
Ik hoop dat de PVV, Forum , SP, DENK, Code Oranje, Lokaal Brabant, Ouderen Appèl – Hart voor Brabant en Senioren Brabant stemmers die op 20 maart de gang naar de stembus maken om voor de Staten op de partij van hun eerste keuze te stemmen, toch de moeite nemen om ook voor het waterschap te stemmen. In het bijzonder op Ons Water, de bundeling van mensen die inzien dat ‘water’ geen politieke kleur kent. Ons Water heeft geen binding met een landelijke partij en kent kandidaten van links tot rechts en uit alle geledingen van de samenleving. Ons Water barst van de kandidaten met ervaring in het waterschapsbestuur en de nodige ervaring in het openbaar bestuur op gemeentelijk en provinciaal niveau, de andere overheden waar waterschappen mee samenwerken om de (klimaat)opgaven en dijkverbeteringen efficiënt op te pakken. We hebben ook ingenieurs en juristen en gemeentelijke beleidsambtenaren water en oud medewerkers van waterschappen en Rijkwaterstaat op de lijst staan. Kortom de deskundigheden en ervaringen, bestuurlijk en technisch, zijn ruim aanwezig. Als raadsleden of statenleden, van welke politieke kleur ook, ons om advies vragen dan zijn we beschikbaar om met iedere partij over waterzaken mee te denken.
Dus stem op 20 maart ook voor het waterschap Brabantse Delta. En dan graag op Ons Water lijst 3.
