Geacht Dagelijks Bestuur,
In het beleidsverslag over 2006 van de gemeente Bergen op Zoom is onder “Concrete Risico’s” (pagina 145) opgenomen dat de Commissie Omvang Kosten op 8 juni 2005 de kosten heeft vastgesteld van de WOZ. Hieruit blijkt dat de gemeente Bergen op Zoom aan de afnemers van de WOZ-gegevens over de jaren 1999 t/m 2002 forse bedragen moet terugbetalen. Aan het Ministerie van Financiën is dit inmiddels gebeurd (2005). “Van het waterschap is nog geen afrekening ontvangen.”.
Hoe kan dit? En is het waterschap ook bij andere gemeenten ‘nalatig’ in het innen van teveel betaalde WOZ-kosten?
Volgens het beleidsverslag bedraagt het terug te betalen bedrag € 316.490,–. Voorwaar niet onaanzienlijk!
