De plannen zien er op papier goed uit. Nu is het zaak dat deze ondernemer samen met de gemeente en het waterschap de plannen verder uitwerkt.
Na de bespreking een rondleiding over het bedrijf waar een enthousiaste ondernemer de ontwikkeling laat zien van een (volle grond) tuinbouwbedrijf naar een recreatieonderneming, die nu jaarlijks meer dan 50.000 bezoekers trekt. De oorsprong, het boerenbedrijf, is het terugkerend thema waaraan binnen deze onderneming tal van recreatie elementen zijn vormgegeven. Ook zonder de voorgenomen uitbreidingsplannen is dit bedrijf, met een ruime gratis parkeergelegenheid, een bezoek zeker waard.
De komende weken is het ook voor het waterschapsbestuur zomerreces. Voor mij de tijd om vooral met stukken lezen de achterstand in te halen.
