DB vergadering met als agendapunten onder andere: de voortgang en evaluatie project sloten, oevers en dijken op orde, het werkbezoek van een Brabantse delegatie aan Zuid-West Engeland met water als thema en de notitie deelname energiefonds West-Brabant.
Een PHO over de agenda van het bestuurlijk overleg met de gemeente Moerdijk.
Een PHO over de betekenis van de aangekondigde drie nieuwe bruggen in het A27 traject.
Een PHO over de eventuele maatregelen in het waterbeheer ten westen van de kern Kaatsheuvel.
Een PHO over de dijkverbetering Geertruidenberg/Amertak,

In de avond een etentje met de fractieleden en hun echtgenoten.
23 februari
Het 3 lagen overleg van de werkeenheid Hart van Brabant met een terugblik op 2016 en de jaarplanning van 2017. Er staan weer mooie projecten op de rol voor 2017. Dit is een werkeenheid naar mijn hart. In 2012 was de ambitie om in 2020 ruim 6 miljoen euro te besparen. Toen in 2014 bleek dat we goed op wegwaren werd die ambitie verhoogd naar ruim 10 miljoen euro. Eind 2016 hebben we bijna 6 miljoen gerealiseerd. Een compliment voor de gemeenten en de twee waterschappen. Door steeds meer samenwerken, nu ook buiten de waterketen (die besparingen vallen buiten de huidige rekensom), hebben we dit resultaat gehaald. Dat geeft vertrouwen dat we ook in de toekomst de ambities gaan halen. Moge dit een voorbeeld zijn voor de andere werkeenheden in ons waterschap. Met koek bij de vergadering werd gevierd dat onze regio op 2 februari op de Rioneddag in de prijzen viel.
