Geacht Dagelijks Bestuur,
Dank voor de terbeschikkingstelling van de Eindrapportage 1e Bestuursovereenkomst periode 2004-2007. Na de ontvangst gisteren heb ik met enige schaamte kennisgenomen van de door ons waterschap bereikte resultaten. Ons Waterschap komt er vergeleken met de andere Brabantse waterschappen zeer slecht uit. Bij alle in de grafieken vergeleken resultaten heeft ons waterschap van de vier Brabantse waterschappen het slechtste gepresteerd.
– Bij de verdrogingsbestrijding realiseerde de Brabantse waterschappen gemiddeld 42 % van de te realiseren hectares. Brabantse Delta slechts 12 %.
– Bij waterberging realiseerde de Brabantse waterschappen gemiddeld 16 % van de te realiseren hectares. Brabantse Delta slechts 8 % .
– Bij beek- en kreekherstel realiseerde de Brabantse waterschappen gemiddeld 37 % van de af te ronden kilometers. Brabantse Delta slechts 13 %.
– Bij de ecologische verbindingszones realiseerde de Brabantse waterschappen gemiddeld 32 % van de af te ronde kilometers. Brabantse Delta slechts 16 %.
– Bij de vistrappen realiseerde de Brabantse waterschappen gemiddeld 60 % van de af te ronden aantallen. Brabantse Delta slechts 38 %.
Het bovenstaande is niet iets om trots op te zijn. Hoe is het mogelijk dat ons waterschap zo evident slecht heeft gepresteerd? Wat zijn de verklaringen dat de andere Brabantse waterschappen de doelen sneller weten te realiseren dan het waterschap Brabantse Delta?
