In het jaarverslag van de Stichting Toegepast Onderzoek Waterbeheer (STOWA) 2007 wordt in het artikel: “waterschappen kunnen innovatieve kracht nieuwe ambitieuze waterbedrijven benutten” gesteld dat het jammer is “dat er nauwelijks waterschappen aangesloten zijn bij TTIW/Wetsus”(Technologisch Top Instituut voor Watertechnologie)(Wetsus, centre of excellence for sustainable water technology).
– Is het waterschap Brabantse Delta aangesloten bij TTIW/Wetsus?
Nu kunnen waterschappen activiteiten in dit kader ontwikkelen via het STOWA.
– De vraag is in hoeverre het waterschap Brabantse Delta in dit kader activiteiten kent c.q. ontwikkelt?
Het artikel stelt dat: ‘De publieke zaak dienen én bijdragen aan het versterken van de kansen voor Nederlandse bedrijven geen strijdigheid is’. Ons Water onderschrijft deze stelling.
