Betreft: Vragen intentieverklaring van Eindhoven -kenmerk 0051
Geacht Dagelijks Bestuur,
Naar mijn informatie is recent namens uw DB ondertekend de intentieverklaring van Eindhoven. Een soortgelijke intentieverklaring is opgesteld door het Regionaal Bestuurlijk Overleg Rijn-Oost. In Rijn-Oost is deze, buiten de provincies, de waterschappen en maatschappelijke organisaties, door 75 gemeenten getekend. De intentieverklaring van Eindhoven is slechts ondertekend door één gemeente, te weten Breda.
In het besef dat de zoetwaterproblematiek op onze hoge zandgronden niet wezenlijk anders is dan in Rijn-Oost heeft de fractie Ons Water/West-Brabant Waterbreed de volgende vragen:
- Waarom heeft in ons gebied slechts één gemeente de intentieverklaring ondertekend?
- Zijn de gemeenten betrokken geweest bij het overleg dat tot de intentieverklaring van Eindhoven heeft geleid?
- Zo nee, waren ze uitgenodigd?
- Zo nee, waarom niet?
