Agendapunten waren onder andere: de stand van zaken van het project “Sloten Oevers en Dijken op Orde”, het Havenbedrijf Moerdijk, de samenwerking en de relatie in den brede, het gebiedsproces, de Keenehaven, de Keenesluis, de EVZ Dintel-Tonnekreek, beheer en onderhoud, de verbetering regionale waterkeringen, de klimaatadaptatie en de samenwerking ‘Kinderboerderij’.
Diverse PHO’s onder andere over de A27, beek en kreekherstel rond Dongen en de Zuiderwaterlinie.

DB met als agendapunten onder andere: de aanpak van de gebiedsprocessen, de kadernota, het projectplan Roode Vaart door Zevenbergen, de keuze onderwerp art. 109a onderzoek 2017 (beek- en kreekherstel), onderhoud Boomvaart, de voortgangsrapportage waterstaatkundige toestand regionale keringen, de aanleg van een inspectiepad op de dijk langs het Schelde-Rijnkanaal tussen de brug bij Nieuw-Vossemeer en Benedensas.
Een portefeuillehoudersoverleg over de gebiedsprocessen in de gemeenten Waalwijk, Loon op Zand, Tilburg en Goirle.
In de avond een bijeenkomst met de Stichting Duinboeren over een gebiedsontwikkelingsplan Duinboeren. Vertegenwoordigd waren verder de gemeenten Loon op Zand, Haaren, Tilburg, Heusden, Dongen, het waterschap de Dommel en de provincie.

Stuurgroep Zuider Water Linie in het provinciehuis waar alle komende activiteiten aan de orde kwamen, alsmede het communicatieplan.
In de avond het AB met als agendapunten onder andere: sturen op hoofdlijnen, het projectplan EVZ/beekherstel Rillaersebaan, verleidingsplan innovatie, de kansrijke alternatieven voor dijkversterking Geertruidenberg en Amertak.

In de middag de bestuurlijke adviesgroep A27 met uitleg over de vervanging van de drie bestaande bruggen. Namens de drie betrokken waterschappen (Hoogheemraadschap Stichtse Rijnlanden, Rivierenland en Brabantse Delta) heb ik samen met collega Goos den Hartog aandacht gevraagd voor de wenselijkheid de flessenhals, die bruggen vaak zijn in de rivier, te verminderen. Het kan ook niet zo zijn dat RWS droog (de wegen), door verkeerde zuinigheid, RWS nat (de dijken en rivieren) op kosten jaagt door verdere bovenstroomse dijkverzwaringen nodig te maken. Graag bruggen op pijlers in plaats van grondlichamen in het winterbed van de rivieren. Zelf vroeg ik aandacht zowel van RWS als van de provincie Noord-Brabant voor de cultuur-historische waarde van de Keizersveerbrug, die ooit bij Moerdijk lag en waar toen zwaar om gevochten is en die voor veel streekgenoten een deel is van onze ziel en geschiedenis.
