Motivatie
Gezond water is van levensbelang als bron van leven voor mens en natuur. Mensen gebruiken het als drinkwater, voor recreatie, scheepvaart, landbouw en proceswater voor de industrie. Voor planten en dieren die in het water leven, is het de natuurlijke omgeving.
Onze totale waterhuishouding komt steeds dichter bij ons via allerlei media kanalen gezien de klimaatveranderingen. Ook op lokaal niveau worden wij er bij betrokken. Dit gegeven heeft mijn persoonlijke belangstelling gewekt. Ik wil mij persoonlijk inzetten om de totale waterhuishouding voor mens en natuur in onze regio in goede banen te leiden. Vandaar mijn aansluiting bij OnsWater en mij verkiesbaar te stellen voor de Waterschapsverkiezingen op 15 maart 2023.
