BETREFT: PRAKTIJKPROEF VOLKERAK-ZOOMMEER, KENMERK W 20005
Geacht Dagelijks bestuur,
In een artikel in het tijdschrift van Waterschap Scheldestromen wordt een lopende praktijkproef Volkerak-Zoommeer beschreven met als doel het in de praktijk nagaan wat het effect is als er bij extreme droogte geen aanvoer komt via de Volkerak-sluizen. Het lijkt of de proef een gevolg is van een waterakkoord opgesteld door Rijkswaterstaat en de drie aangrenzende waterschappen. In het waterakkoord staan (nieuwe) afspraken over het peil en het zoutgehalte.
- Wat betekenen de (nieuwe) afspraken voor ons waterschap?
- Zijn er nadere (nieuwe) afspraken over de waterverdeling over de hoofdwaterwegen? (Haringvliet, Hollands Diep en de beschikbare hoeveelheid zoetwater om de verzilting tegen te gaan via de Nieuwe Waterweg c.q. verzilting als gevolg van het kierbesluit?).
- Wat beoogt men precies te leren van de praktijkproef en hoe wil men de nieuwe kennis gebruiken voor de verdeling als zoet water schaars is in droogteperioden?
Wat zijn de afspraken wat betreft droogteperioden ten aanzien van de gangbare 20 m3 inlaat in de zomerperiode?
