BETREFT: CONSULTATIE KADERNOTITIE ZEEUWS DELTAPLAN ZOET WATER, KENMERK W 21003
Geacht Dagelijks bestuur,
Via een actieve aanpak wil de provincie Zeeland vraag en aanbod van zoet water meer in balans brengen, vooral in het landelijk gebied. Het Zeeuws Deltaplan Zoet Water moet daarbij helpen. De huidige inzichten, opgaven en kansen staan beschreven in een kadernotitie.
De komende maand vindt een informele consultatie plaats. In dat Deltaplan Zoet Water moeten straks keuzes worden gemaakt over haalbaarheid van maatregelen, prioriteiten en kosten. Het Zeeuwse Deltaplan Zoet Water krijgt geen wettelijke status, en inspraak op dit plan is formeel niet nodig. Datzelfde geldt voor de kadernotitie. Gezien het belang van het onderwerp wil de provincie de notitie wel graag toetsen. Daarom wordt een informele consultatie gehouden tot en met 12 april. Na de consultatieronde wordt de eventueel bijgestelde kadernotitie op 20 april vastgesteld door Gedeputeerde Staten van Zeeland. Daarbij komen ook de reacties van externe partners aan de orde. Tot en met de zomer van 2021 wordt er gewerkt aan het Zeeuwse Deltaplan Zoetwater.

Heeft het DB kennisgenomen van de Kadernotitie Zeeuws Deltaplan Zoet Water?

Naar het gevoelen van de fractie Ons Water/Waterbreed is er mogelijk een samenhang tussen een aantal aandachtsgebieden zoals in de kadernotitie benoemd en de belangen van ons waterschap. Denk aan “Externe wateraanvoer via buisleidingen”, “Benutten RWZI-effluent en industrieel afvalwater” en “Industrieel watergebruik”, alsmede de benutting van het water uit het Volkerak-Zoommeer. Is het DB voornemens deel te
nemen aan de informele consultatieronde en wat wordt dan de inbreng van ons waterschap?
